Chairman Speech In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds and may He bless and grant peace to our Master Muhammad, the Faithful and the Honest, and may Allah bless his folks and companions.
Honorable members of the State Council,
May the Peace, Mercy and Blessing of Allah be Upon you. We are pleased for congratulating you for Ramadan and the coming Eid al-Fitr. We ask Allah to return these blessed days to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said with health and happiness, to Omani people with ongoing progress and prosperity, and other Arab and Islamic nations with goodness and harmony.
Honorable members of the Council,
We begin with the help of Allah the works of the 11th regular session of the 1st annual session of the 6th term; which will discuss the draft law of the system of veterinary products for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was transferred from the Council of Ministers, as well as the report of Shura Council and the Social Committee of the State Council on that.
Also, the draft budget of the Council for 2017 will be discussed. Then, to look at the report of the General-Secretariat, and other topics related to the Council’s works.
Calling upon Allah Almighty to make lasting peace for the good of this dear country and its people under the glorious reign of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
