State Council Vice Chairperson receives German Youth parliamentary delegation

Hon.Dr. Suad Mohamed Ali Sulaiman Al Lawati, Vice Chairperson of the State Council received a German Youth parliamentary delegation today, currently visiting the Sultanate. She warmly welcomed the delegation and hoped that their visit to the Sultanate would be successful in achieving their desired objectives in support of parliamentary cooperation between the Sultanate and Germany.
The Vice-President of the State Council gave the delegation an overview of the Council and its role in strengthening the state institutions in the Sultanate through the exercise of its powers and competencies. The members of the German Youth parliamentary delegation expressed their pleasure regarding their visit to the Sultanate and praised the comprehensive development achieved through the Blessed Renaissance led by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. They added that they looked forward to the strengthening of the youth parliamentary relations between the two sides through exchange of visits and experiences. The German Youth parliamentary delegation toured the council building and were briefed about its facilities and technical infrastructure. The delegation also viewed the film about the State Council that illustrated the stages of the development of the Shura march in the Sultanate and the contribution of the State Council to national action.
