Regulations discussed at State Council Bureau meeting

State Council Bureau meeting, chaired by H.E. Dr Yahya Bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri, State Council Chairman discussed at its fourth meeting the proposal of the internal regulations of the Council submitted by the Legal Committee.
 
The meeting, held in the presence of the honourable Bureau members and the Council’s Secretary General, hosted Hon.Abdul Qadir bin Salim Al Dhahab, Head of the Committee and  Hon.Dr.Issa bin Said Al-Kiyoumi , Deputy Head of the Legal Committee as the Rapporteur of the Committee to discuss the Regulations.  
The Head of the Legal Committee emphasized the importance of the proposal in the organization of the work of the Council, and reviewed  the stages of the regulations, appreciating  the valuable observations of the Bureau of the regarding the proposal, which had a significant impact in documenting the final version of the proposal.    
H.E. Dr Yahya Bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri commended the efforts of the Committee in examining the proposal, and the Bureau decided to forward it to the next plenary meeting after discussion and include the observations made by the Bureau members.
Regarding the proposal of the Committee on Culture, Information and Tourism, the Bureau also discussed "the role of Omani drama in society-theatre as a model" for study during the current period after the introduction of the Bureau's observations.
The Bureau reviewed several proposals made by the Council members, including the report submitted by Hon.Eng.Naashiah Saud Mohamed Al Kharoosi on the "proposed framework for the reports of delegations to foreign conferences and symposiums", as well as reviewed the topics proposed for discussion at the Bureau meeting with the Heads of the Standing Committees.
The Bureau was also briefed on a series of reports and communications received from various entities, as well as noted the follow-up report on the implementation of the decisions taken at the third Bureau meeting and a report on the follow-up of the Committees activities during the period between the two meetings. It also decided on the agenda items of the Fourth Regular session.
