State Council receives Jordanian NDC delegation

A delegation from the National Defense College (NDC) from Jordan, led by Brigadier General Mohamad Raji Falah Al Harafshen, visited the State Council today, within the framework of its current visit to the Sultanate.
State Council members, Hon. Omar Salim Ahmed Al Marhoon and Hon.Sheikh Nasser bin Saeed Al Haddabi and the Assistant Secretary General for Media and Public Relations received the delegation.
At the outset of the meeting, the delegation was welcomed by Hon. Omar Salim Ahmed Al Marhoon and wished them a pleasant stay in the Sultanate, success in their desired objectives and wished enhancement in the bonds of bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries. He praised the existing relations, link between the Sultanate and Jordan, and noted the importance of such visits to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the countries in all fields.
Hon.Omar presented a brief about the development of shura in the Sultanate and the role of the State Council in national action.
Brigadier General Mohamed Falah Al Zafrah, head of the delegation, expressed their pleasure to visit the Sultanate, praised the comprehensive development and evolution in all fields, wished the nation steady progress and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
Following this, the delegation viewed a documentary film illustrating the important aspects of the Council and concluded the visit after a tour of the premises to note its various facilities.
