Legal Committee hosts officials of General Secretariat SPC and ORA: Discuss Land laws

The Legal Committee of the State Council hosted on Sunday, February officials of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Planning Council (SPC) and the Oman Real Estate Association (ORA) , in the context of the committee's study on "Laws of the Sultanate's Land" which is currently being performed. 
 
The committee discussed the role of the Council in the field of urban planning for the governorates of the Sultanate and the extent of the commitment of the relevant authorities as well as the Council's proposals on the development of land laws in the Sultanate.
 
The committee reviewed with the representatives of the Omani Real Estate Association a number of topics including: Real estate developers and real estate companies in relation to the current issues related to the land sector, and the view of the Real Estate Association on the laws of land in the Sultanate.
 
The hosting of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning included Eng. Hilal bin Abdul Rasool Al Zadjali, Director General of Studies and Urban Development and Dr Hilal bin Ali Al Qamshoui, Director of the National Strategy for Urban Development.
 
The Omani Real Estate Association includes: Hassan Bin Mohammed Bin Juma Al Lawati, Chairman of the Board, Eng. Saeed Bin Nasser Al Rashidi, Board Member and Ahmed Bin Ali Al Mahrouqi, Board Member.
