School Students visit the State Council to learn about governance

 Student group from S.Sharqiyah visited the State Council today. 
Thy were received by Altaf Bint Omar Al Marhoon, Assistant Secretary General for Information and Research Center at the Council.
Abdullah bin Saif Al-Sibani, Director of the Department of Culture, Information and Tourism Affairs at the General Secretariat for the Meetings and Committees and Sultan Al Farsi, Section Head of Reports and working papers section of the General Secretariat for meetings and committees at the State Council briefed the students.
 
It focused on the Council's functions, powers, the main Council devices, its organizational structure, activities and achievements and answered the queries raised by the students.    
 
The student group toured the Council to note its various facilities and viewed a documentary film illustrating the stages of development process in the Sultanate and the contribution of the State Council to national action.
