Oman-Moroccan Friendship Committee reviews development of bilateral cooperation

The Omani-Moroccan Friendship Committee between the State Council and the Council of Councillors held on Sunday a joint meeting. The Omani side was led by Hon.Abdul Qadir bin Salim Al Dhahab and the Moroccan side by the Head of the Moroccan Friendship committee and members of both sides of the Committee.
During the meeting, topics that aimed at strengthening relations between the Sultanate and Morocco were focussed on. It also discussed promotion of cooperation in many areas, particularly in parliamentary fields and the exchange of experiences between the two councils.
The meeting was attended by members of the Omani-Moroccan Friendship Committee from the State Council: Hon.Sheikh Khalfan Khamis Al-Hashmi, Hon. Ahmed Sulaiman Saleh Al- Maimani, Hon.Eng.Khalfan Saleh Mohamed Al Naabi, and Hon.Dr. Badria Ibrahim Khalfan Al Shihi and Hon.Dr. Abdullah Mubarak Salim Al Shanfari.
On the Moroccan side, the members of the Committee of the Council of advisors in charge of the meeting were Counsellor Mohamed Elmi and Chancellor Mubarak Jamli.
The delegation representing the Omani side of the Omani-Moroccan Friendship Committee between the Council of State and the Council of councillors were received on Sunday at the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, by the Head of the Moroccan side of the Friendship Committee between Oman and Morocco and members of the Moroccan House of Councillors.
The Omani-Moroccan Friendship Committee's visit program on Monday includes a meeting with Hakim Benchamach, President of the House of Councillors, as well as meetings with several officials in Morocco and the meeting of the Omani-Moroccan Friendship Committee.
