State Council members participate in Arab Parliament meetings

Hon.Musallam bin Ali Al Maashani and Hon.Khamis bin Said Al Sulaimi participated in the meetings yesterday.
State Council participated in the meetings of the Committee of Foreign affairs, Politics and Arab National Security Committee and the Committee of Social affairs, Education, Culture, and Woman and Youth Affairs at the Arab Parliament on 22 April. Hon.Musallam bin Ali Al Maashani, Deputy Speaker of the Arab parliament and member of the Foreign affairs, Politics and Arab National Security Committee attended the Committee meeting that reviewed the Arab Convention for the suppression of terrorism and followed up the implementation of the League of Arab States Council on Arab political affairs. Hon.Khamis bin Said Al Sulaimi, member of Social affairs, Education, Culture, and Woman and Youth committee, attended the Committee meeting that discussed an integrated view to draft document of higher education and scientific research in the Arab world, and another one on advancing the Arabic language, plus discussed a mechanism to help the refugees, especially children and women. The meeting stressed the necessity of developing the League into a competent system able to keep pace with the age and realize the expectations of the Arab peoples.
