The Legal Committee of the Council examines "Litigation Procedures"

The Legal Committee on 14 January, held its second meeting of the third annual session of the sixth period, chaired by Hon.Abdulqadir Salim Abdullah Al Dhahab, Head of the Committee in the presence of the honourable  members of the Committee and the staff of the Secretariat of the Council.
During the meeting, the Committee was briefed regarding the letters received from the Secretary-General of the Council on the laws issued prior to the date of the promulgation of the Basic Law of the State, which had not been amended.
It also noted the letter regarding the Committee's proposal to examine the topic, "Litigation Proceedings and impediments to the execution of sentences" will be presented for discussion at the upcoming Joint Meeting of the Bureau of the Council and the Heads of the Standing Committees.
