The Economic Committee of the State Council on Tuesday, discussed  the draft law on combatting hidden trade referred by the Council of Ministers based on Article (58) bis (37) of the Basic Law of the State, which states that: “Draft laws are forwarded by the  Council of Ministers to Majlis A’Shura, which must decide on it by approval or amendment within three months at the most from the date of referral to it, then refer it to the State Council, which must decide to approve or amend it within forty-five days at the most from the date of referral to it.

During its sixth meeting of the first annual session of the seventh term, chaired by

Hon.Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Harthy, Committee Head and held in the presence of the honorable members of the Committee, and a number of General Secretariat employees in the Council, the Committee reviewed the new work, in addition to ratifying the minutes of its previous meeting.
