Polish Senate delegation concludes visit to Sultanate

The delegation of the Polish side of the Parliamentary Friendship Committee between the State Council and the Senate of the Republic, headed by Senator Michał Seweryński concluded their three-day visit on Friday to the Sultanate.
The visit-involved talks with the Omani side of the committee chaired by the Hon.Salim bin Ismail Bin Suwaid, and reviewed varied means to support cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The delegation met with several officials including: The State Council Chairman, H.E. Dr.Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al-Manthri, HE Eng. Mohammed Bin Abu Baker Al Ghassani, Vice Chairman of Majlis A’Shura, HE Qais Bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Chairman of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Oman; Executive Vice President of the Central Bank of Oman; HE Salem bin Mohammed Al Mahrooqi, Ministry of Heritage and Culture for Heritage Affairs, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Oufi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries for Fisheries, and HE Dr. Mohammed bin Awad Al-Hassan, Acting Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs.
The delegation visited al-Jabel al-Akhdar and met HE. Sheikh Khalifa bin Salah al-Busaidi, deputy governor of Nizwa in the Jabal al-Akhdar prosecution.
The delegation of the Polish Senate was headed by Senator Michał Seweryński and included Senator Kazimierz Kleina and Senator Marek Pęk.
