NDC delegation from Kenya visits the State Council

Brigadier John Waweru, Head of the Kenyan National Defence College's (NDC) and accompanying delegation was received at the Council today.
State Council members, Hon.Saif bin Ali Al Amiri and Hon.Mahfoodh Hamood Mohamed Al Wahaibi today received Brigadier John Waweru, Head of the Kenyan National Defence College's (NDC) delegation, currently visiting the Sultanate. The two sides exchanged viewpoints and discussed several issues of common concern. At the beginning of the meeting, Hon.Saif al Amri and Hon.Mahfoodh Hamood Mohamed Al Wahaibi welcomed the guest and the accompanying delegation. The Council members wished them a successful visit and that they would achieve their desired objectives, which would support bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries. Hon.Saif al Amri praised the existing relations between the Sultanate and Kenya and the strong relations between the two countries and its friendly people and the progress made by them. During his visit, the delegation viewed a presentation by Sabah bin Bint Mohammed Al Oufia, Director of the International Relations Department of the General Secretariat for Public Information and Public Relations Affairs of the Council. It highlighted the role of the Council of Oman, its role and the provisions of the State Council as per the stipulations of the Basic Statue, and the role of the Council in legislative and oversight aspects. The delegation expressed deep thanks and appreciation to the members for the warm reception and expressed their happiness regarding the visit. They shared their admiration for the development witnessed in all fields of development under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said. Brigadier John Waweru and the delegation expressed the hope that the bilateral relations between the Sultanate and Kenya will witness further development, prosperity and development in a manner that will contribute to the realization of their common interests At the end of the visit, the delegation toured the building of the Council to get to know about its various facilities.
