State Council Bureau discuss report of the State budget for fiscal year 2017

Today, the report of the State budget for fiscal year 2017 prepared by the Expanded Economic Committee comprising of the heads of the Standing Committees and the members of the Economic Committee was discussed at the State Council Bureau meeting.
The State Council Bureau discussed the report of the State budget for fiscal year 2017 prepared by the Expanded Economic Committee today. The first Bureau meeting of the second annual sitting held under the Chairmanship of HE.Dr Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri, State Council Chairman had the presence of the honorable members of the Bureau and the Secretary-General of the State Council. The Bureau hosted Hon.Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Harthy, Head of the Economic Committee and Hon.Eng.Rahma Hamed Mohamed Al Mashrafi, Economic Committee member for discussing the report on the State budget for fiscal year 2017 prepared by the Expanded Economic Committee comprising of the heads of the Standing Committees and the members of the Economic Committee. The Chairman on behalf of the Bureau extended appreciation to the Economic Committee for the stinted efforts exerted in completing the assigned task within the stipulated time. The Bureau then decided to present the report at the upcoming plenary session. Furthermore, the Bureau discussed the topics for presentation at the next meeting, which will be held by the honorable heads of the standing committees and valued the outcome of the first ordinary session of the second annual sitting of the sixth term held on 20 November 2016. The Bureau members also reviewed a number of proposals made by the honored members, and at the same time reviewed the report on the implementation of decisions taken at its meeting of 1 June, in addition to the follow-up report on the activities of the committees during the period between former Bureau meeting and the present one. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee briefed on its agenda and took appropriate decisions.
