State Council conducts Training Program

A four-day long training program titled "Skills of preparing correspondence and reports” commenced at the State Council today.
The State Council organized a four-day long training program titled "Skills of preparing correspondence and reports”, which commenced today.
The program was initiated in the presence of a number of officials of the State Council, the Shura Council and the Civil services.
The management-training expert Wael Al Saeed Abdu Al Atai, expert and professional trainer and administrative consultant in the administrative and office programs presented the program.
The program deals with methodology of preparation and writing of reports and administrative letters, administrative writing and its impact on the administrative process, writing of minutes of meetings, and the most important mistakes made in grammar usage.
It includes practical training methods, theoretical lectures, discussions on the communication process, analysis of the needs of the recipients of the report, the nature of the administrative communication and its types, the elements and steps of writing right messages, as well as the formal and objective aspects of correspondence and the protocol applied in using surnames in the Sultanate.
The program includes practical workshops on the methods of drafting letters and reports, and methods of using means of clarification in reports, tables, graphs and illustrations, in addition to the punctuation and writing numbers.
