State Council to  hold its seventh Ordinary Sitting tomorrow

The State Council will hold tomorrow its seventh Ordinary Sitting of the first annual session of the seventh term, headed by HE.Dr.Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri, Chairman of the State  Council.

 

The Council will discuss during the sitting  the proposal submitted by the Economic Committee on "Stability of the Omani economy in light of the decline in oil prices and the Coved 19-pandemic", and the draft "Council’s Budget for the year 2021".

The State Council will also discuss the opinion of the joint committee between the State Council and Majlis A’Shura on the draft law to “ combat hidden trade". 

The Council will be briefed about the referral of a "draft law on the protection of personal data" referred by the Council of Ministers to the Legal Committee for its study.

The agenda of the session also includes access to a number of reports submitted by honorable Council members, letters received by the Council, in addition to reviewing of the report of the General Secretariat on the activities of the Council for the period between the previous sitting and the present sitting.
