Oman- Russia ties based on mutual respect: Al Manthri

The State Council Chairman,H. E.Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al-Manthri, returned from Russia on Saturday after concluding 
a four-day official visit in response to an invitation of the Chairperson of Russian Federation Council, Valentina Ivanova Matvienko.
 
State Council members Hon.Nada Hassan Mohammed Al Jamali, Hon.Dr. Ahmed Ali Mohammed Al Mashikhi, Hon.Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Harthy, Hon. Dr. Hasan Ali Mohammed Al Madhani and Hon. Dr. Badria Ibrahim Khalfan Al Shihi comprised the delegation. 
 
Earlier during the visit, the delegation had held meetings with Vice-Chairman of State Duma Sergey Neverov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Bogdanov, Chairperson of Russian Federation Council, Chairperson of Russian Federation Council, Valentina Ivanova.  
 
 
H.E.Dr.Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al-Manthri, State Council Chairman had delivered a speech at the Federation Council, which highlighted the growth in Oman-Russia relations in multiple areas. 
 
The State Council delegation was received at the Muscat international airport by Hon.Sheikh Dr. Al Khatab bin Ghalib Al- Hinai, State Council Vice Chairman, Hon.Dr. Suad Mohamed Ali Sulaiman Al Lawati, Vice Chairperson, the Secretary-General from the Council and the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Russia accredited to the sultanate.
