State Council Chairman and delegation conclude a successful visit to the Czech Republic

The visit by the State Council Chairman, H.E.Dr. Yahya Bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri and his accompanying delegation, was in response to an invitation of H.E MR. Milan Štěch, President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.
The visit aimed at strengthening relations between the Sultanate and the Czech Republic, and developing cooperation between them in various fields, especially in the parliamentary fields.
The delegation held high-level discussions with Czech leaders to advance relations to a new level. The visit included special
meetings with officials, visits to a number of institutions, cultural centers and historical and cultural sites that reveal the depth, richness and diversity of Czech heritage, accompanied the visit.
The State Council delegation during the visit met Andrej Babiš, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, H.E. Mr. Milan Štěch, President of Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, H.E Radek Fondrachik, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, Czech Culture Minister, Ilja Šmíd, President of Czech Chamber of Commerce, Mr Vladimir Dlouhy and other dignitaries.
The delegation was seen received on Thursday at the Muscat International Airport by Hon.Dr Suad bint Mohammed Al Lawati, Deputy Chairperson of the Council and H.E Dr.Khalid bin Salim Al Saidi, Secretary General of the State Council.
H.E.Dr.Yahya Bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri’s delegation included Hon.Abdullah Said Al Saifi, Hon. Dr. Muna Ahmed Saadoon, Hon.Dr. Said Mubarak Muharrami, Hon.Dr. Ismail Saleh Al Aghbari and Hon. Sabah Mohamed Bahlani among others.
