State Council member concludes participation in the 2nd Euro-Asian Women Forum

The participation of Hon.Eng. Naashiah Saud Mohamed Al Kharoosi, State Council Member concluded on Friday at the 2nd Euro-Asian Women Forum, hosted in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
The agenda for Thursday included the opening ceremony and a session on ‘Women for Global Security and Sustainable Development’ as well as a seminar on Women and the Technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in APEC Economies.
The second day of the Forum included a discussion entitled "The digital Age and Equal opportunities", as well as an expert panel discussion on the Role of women in the development of creative industries.
The Forum concluded with a plenary meeting, which emphasized the objectives of the Forum, organized by the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, to highlight the role of women in addressing social, economic and humanitarian issues and in promoting international peace and security.
Women parliamentarians, representatives of the executive, international organizations, scientific and social entities and influential personalities of the international feminist movement are participating in the work of the Forum at its second session from about 100 states.
