Special Committee hosts officials of SAI to discuss promoting work force in public sector

Within the framework of the Committee's study of the proposal, ‘Promoting the use of manpower in the public sector’ formed by the State Council, the Special Committee hosted officials of State Audit Institution (SAI) on Sunday.
The fifth committee meeting, headed by Hon.Dr. Sheikh al-Khattab bin Ghaleb al-Hinai, head of the committee was held in the presence of the honourable Committee members, staff of the Council and SAI.
The meeting focussed on several subjects and topics related to the study, which included: How to take advantage of the excess manpower in the public sector through pioneering experiences in this field, ways and means and initiatives to make optimum use of the workforce and the functional rotation system as a proposal that contributes to the development of public sector services and its operationalization through legislation and laws.
The Committee hosted officials to gain valuable inputs to add information to their study. They included Saeed bin Salem al-Araimi, Director General for Supervision of Education, Health and Agriculture sector of SAI, Nasser bin Mohammed Al Hosani, Director General of the Directorate General of Investment and Corporate Commercial and Industrial and Mohammed bin Hamdan Al Jabri, Director of the Financial Affairs Control Department.
During the meeting, the Committee was informed of the follow-up report on the implementation of the decisions taken at its previous meeting, as well as approved the minutes of the meeting, and discussed the new work as per the agenda and the decisions taken thereon.
