Omani side of the Oman-Polish Parliamentary Friendship Committee meets

The Omani side of the Oman-Polish Parliamentary Friendship Committee at its meeting today, focused on the discussions conducted during the hosting of the heads of the Friendship Committees at the Bureau meeting of December 18 that discussed the proposal of “organization of the work of friendship committees” at the State Council.
The meeting had highlighted the importance of the role of the Joint Friendship Committees of the State Council with a number of Councils in friendly countries, in promoting relations of cooperation, through exchange of visits; research Studies and exchanging experiences among the councils for mutual benefit. It had also discussed the joint coordination on various issues and topics in regional and international conferences and forums. Additionally, it reviewed ideas and visions relating to the proposal to "organize the work of Friendship Committees" that would contribute to enhancing the work of the Friendship committees. The Friendship committee meet also discussed the invite received from Polish Senate for the Omani side to visit Poland. The meeting also noted the request from Poland to hold an exhibition of Polish products. Hon.Salem bin Ismail Al Suaid, headed the meeting in the presence of honorable members of the Committee. The meeting approved the minutes of its first meeting for the third annual session of the sixth term.
