Committee of Culture, Information and Tourism reviews its study on Omani handicrafts and drama

Committee of Culture, Information and Tourism  at the State Council today reviewed its studies on "Craft Industries" and ‘The Role of Omani Drama in Society – Theater’ at its sixth meeting.
 
The meeting chaired by the Hon.Dr.Ahmed bin Ali Al-Meshaqi, Head of the Committee in the presence of the honorable members of the Committee, discussed its study on "Handicraft Industries and Heritage".
Further, it discussed its study on "The Role of Omani Drama in the Society - Theater as a Model" which aims to identify the reality of Omani drama and the role of community institutions in supporting the Omani theater with specialized cadres.
The study delves into the difficulties that limit the development of drama and theatrical movement and propose solutions to overcome these difficulties.
The committee approved the minutes of its previous meeting and discussed new issues on the agenda and took the appropriate decisions.
