Oman-China Friendship Committee meets within the framework of the Omani delegations current visit to china.

The Omani delegation held talks with Ambassador for China Arab States Cooperation Forum Affairs, followed by a meeting with the Head of the Chinese side of the Oman-China Friendship Association and Vice Chairman of CPPCC National committee, as well as with Vice President, Chief Officer of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
 
 
The delegation of the Omani side of the Oman-China friendship Association headed by HE Dr.Khalid bin Salim bin Said Al Saidi, Secretary-General of the State Council and the Secretary General of the Association of friendship Oman held talks with Mr.Li Chengwen, Ambassador for China Arab States Cooperation Forum Affairs, followed by a meeting with the Head of the Chinese side of the Oman-China Friendship Association, HE.Wang Zhengwei, Vice Chairman of CPPCC National committee.
The meetings were held within the framework of the Omani delegation’s current visit to China.
They also held joint talks with D.J. Pandian Vice President, Chief Officer of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
The highlights of the talks was boosting of cooperation between Oman and China in Tourism and economic spheres between the two countries.
The meetings were attended by HE. Sheikh Ali Bin Nasser Al Marroquin, Secretary-General of the Shura Council, a number of representatives of government agencies, private sector and representatives of some academic institutions and Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Saleh Al-Saadi, the Sultanate's Ambassador to China.
HE.Dr.Omar Abdul Mone’m Yousuf AL Zawawi, Honorary President and the Special Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for External Liaison, has played a notable role in establishing Oman-China relationship and establishing ease in the environment for the Chinese community in Oman.”
The visit coincides with the Guangzhou inaugural ceremony of Oman Air to launch in China to promote relations between the Sultanate and China in various fields and strengthen cooperation between them in new avenues.
