Social Committee at State Council hosts MOH officials to gain inputs

The Social committee at the State Council charged with studying "“Protecting children from accidents’ hosted today officials from MOH to obtain inputs to add value to its on-going study.  
The 12th meeting of the Committee meeting chaired by Hon.Dr. Hamad bin Sulaiman Al Salami, Head of the Committee was held in the presence of honorable Committee members of the Committee and Secretariat staff.
 
The committee hosted Dr.Saeed Bin Hareb Al Lamki, DG of Primary Health Care, Ministry of Health (MOH) and Fatima Bint Ibrahim Al Hinai- Director of Dept. Of women’s and children’s health Department & Community Health (MOH) at the General Directorate of Primary Health Care.
 
The meeting discussed the role of MOH, their initiatives and their effectiveness, especially in the areas of awareness and reduction of factors that pose a danger to children. It touched on various aspects related to the issue.
 
The coordination between the various parties to reduce child accidents, and proposals that may contribute to reducing such incidents was also discussed.
